After a loooooong hiatus… I have decided to re-launch the show soon with a change in format and increase in shows… (hopefully).
As soon as I have confirmed all the details I shall post here and get to work on the first new episode.

Just so you all know… after 12 months away dealing with the lemons that life has been throwing at me.,.. work on Episode #4 begins this week! More specifically… right after I post this… I know some of you will be happy to hear this and I am grateful for your patience.
Also, there may be an additional product to come from Open Country productions just as soon as I’ve planned it out a little more.
So work on a BRAND NEW episode and a potential new show begins…. RIGHT NOW!!

… But I wanted you to know I haven’t forgotten about the website or the podcast. Life has just been tough for the last few months and I just didn’t have the motivation to do anything with them. That being said, I am planning to get something out there for you to hear as soon as I can. There is so much great Creative Commons Country music out there I really need to get a show recorded and let you hear it. Also, in the ‘mainstream’ world of country music, there is so much going on that I have a ton of news to get you all caught up on.
So keep an eye out for more posts and please let me know if you hear about or know of any CC artists you’d like me to play on the show… email me at open-country@otherside.network with details and a link to where I can get their music.

After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to put the next episode on hold for the time being. I’m thinking about making some changes to the format and want it to be awesome for you guys.
I will however keep posting news items I think you’d be interested in, so keep following the website and also the Facebook and Twitter pages for the news items and also updates on the podcast.
To those of you who have taken time out to listen to 3 shows I’ve done so far, I really appreciate your support and hope that you will keep enjoying them in the future once I’m back up and running.

There won’t be a show for August… right now there is a lot going on here and to be honest I’m not really feeling good enough. If i get the chance sometime I may release a short episode but if not the next episode will be September 1st.

We are a month away from the release of the very first episode of Open Country.
Work is preceding and recording will take place soon. As a first time podcaster, I’m nervous but I am looking forward to releasing my first production.
