The tragic events at a nightclub in Orlando last weekend rocked the entire country, including country stars like Tyler Farr and Maddie & Tae. The artists, along with several others, have joined with radio station K92.3 to perform a benefit concert for the victims of the deadly shooting, which will take place June 21 on the University of Central Florida campus.
For one night only on Sept. 20, 2016, the feature documentary To Joey, With Lovewill air in theaters nationwide. The documentary follows the story of husband-and-wife country duo Joey and Rory Feek of Joey+Rory from the birth of their daughter, Indiana, who was born with Down syndrome in 2014, through Joey’s battle with cancer and death in 2016 at the age of 40. Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind” is the No. 1 song on the Billboard Country Airplay chart this week, extending his career total to 28. Since the inception of the Billboard Country Airplay chart in 1990, Tim’s 28 No. 1s lead the pack, followed by Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and George Strait, who each have 26. “Humble and Kind,” which was penned by Lori McKenna, is the second single from Tim’s 2015 album, Damn Country Music.

It was night two of the CMA Music Festival Concerts at Nissan Stadium, on Friday, June 10, that showcased a stellar lineup of talent. The night was warm with a light breeze that swept through the stadium to keep the heat at bay. But it wasn’t enough to keep the heat from coming off of the stage as the country music acts— Clint Black, Chris Stapleton, Sam Hunt, Eric Church, Chris Janson, Justin Moore, Hank Williams Jr. and Carrie Underwood—kept getting hotter. The 60-minute drama was cancelled recently by ABC, but according to The Tennessean, the CMT network and Hulu streaming service will be airing the show for a fifth season.
